What is the process for transferring stocks to PMS Account?

The way you can fund your account from a bank you can also transfer securities into your Marcellus PMS Account. The stocks that are not part of the Marcellus portfolio will be liquidated and proceeds will be invested as per model portfolio.

Please note that Marcellus can accept only listed and liquid securities. Hence, before transferring, please you may want to run the stock names through us so we can confirm if any of these cannot be transferred in.

The end-to-end process of off-market stock transfer is as below:

1
Please email the following details to clientsupport@marcellus.in:
  1. Client name and Marcellus PMS Account number
  2. CML / CMR (client master record) from the demat account from which stocks will be transferred
  3. Complete and accurate purchase history in the following template: Purchase-History-Template.xlsx
2
We will then
  1. instruct your PMS DP to enable your account for receiving stock transfers
  2. share copy of CML / CMR (client master record) of your PMS demat account
  3. Once all clear, we will instruct you to initiate stock transfer - usually on next working day, but in exceptional circumstances this could be on 2nd working days.
  4. Our trading team will approve the quantity of stocks.
3
Upon our confirmation, you can then
  1. instruct your broker to initiate stock transfer from your personal demat to Marcellus PMS demat account
  2. let us know when the transfer has been executed
4
Finally, at the end
  1. we will email you confirmation of receipt of stocks
  2. the stocks shall reflect in your PMS portfolio
